Cassie Peterson is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu purple belt with two stripes, who began her journey on the mats in 2019. With a strong competitive spirit, she has participated in multiple tournaments at each belt level and continues to challenge herself through superfights, currently holding a 1-0 record. A dedicated elementary school teacher since 2008, Cassie brings the same heart and passion for teaching into her jiu-jitsu practice—especially when working with kids and women. She is committed to helping build a powerful and supportive female presence in the sport by collaborating with women-led organizations and creating space for more women to thrive on and off the mats.
